Litter Pick Number 2

Ben came along and helped me today. We also met another man also out litter picking in the Park and Ride - he had already collected 60 face masks - we also collected in excess of 20 - There was a huge amount left around.

We walked from the Silk Mills Park and Ride - down through Long Run Meadow, through French Weir, Goodlands Gardens and then up behind the back of Tesco before heading up the Castle School side of Long Run Meadow and then back to the Park and Ride.

There was a lot of rubbish along the banks of the river - and the area behind Tesco is especially dirty. Too much for us to collect today - it almost needs a special visit.
