Before we started our litter pick, we collected our signs from last week and then took them out again to place them along our walk. There might still be one at the top of Cotlake Hill - we'll get that on a dog walk at some point this week.
It was nice weather, and we decided to pick by the stream we had meant to do last week but didn't quite make it to.
We took a net ( incase there was anything we couldn't get with the pickers) and walked about 3km over1.5 hours - strava only says 55 mins but I think that is because it has autopaused.
There was one bit I could quite reach, so dad went to get it whilst using the tree to stay up. He then tried to come up the slope and started slipping and slowly rolled over onto his back! 😂 I couldn't stop laughing!
We found a bike in the stream - I had to climb over a medium sized metal fence to get it, after our pick we took to the tip, but we had to wait ages for the queue!

I had to climb over a wall near Richard Huish College to get lots of rubbish that was by one of their buildings, bit worried about CCTV though 😬
We found a sad baby blanket adrift in the stream, and also a dirty, soggy bag that stank the car out!
We also found a Taunton Deane Cricket Club softball - not quite sure how it made it to the stream by the college as it's quite a distance to hit the ball - anyway we'll take it back when go for training in the week.
We found a total of 3.42kg of litter, of which 2.24 was rubbish.
